Today is Wednesday,
I have holidays booked from tomorrow until next thursday, which is kinda cool. Nothing major planned, just 3 year annivarsary / valentines day celebrations general r&r and some minor house type work that needs doing. Along with some Cinema going and perhaps a visit to an art gallery or somefink.
I am interested in seeing Walk the Line, as the hype has rekindled my fascination with Mr Cash. (Obsessive playings and replayings of "Man in Black" 2 CD set ahoy). I briefly considered organizing a Johnny Cash singer songwriter tribute night, perhaps on or around his Birthday, but that's too soon to be realistic (26th February), next excuse would be his death day, but that's not till September, and by then I'll most likely have forgotten / not be bothered.
Perhaps I'll hand the idea off to someone else and let them do all the work...
Speaking of work.
eek.

Standard Rockstar Biography goes;
Anecdote Scattered Childhood, with one or two "defining moments"
Adolescence and discovery of "the music"
Learning to play and early lack of success and associated shennanigans
Road to Fame, early tours, recording and associated shennanigans
Pinnacle of success - Touring, recoding well known songs and associated shennanigans
The rest of their life / career to date - More of the same touring and recording that you've been reading about so far, less associated shennanigans, marriage kids and lifetime achievement awards.
Altho' they could have skipped forward 30 dull years and ended the movie with him meeting and recording with Rick Rubin. But that could be a movie of itself, hmm, "Walk the Line II, Man in Black meets Man with Beard",
Excuse me, I have to go write a letter to some Hollywood Movie Executives.
